This type of mixer with pistions was developed in cooperation with the CNRS lab of Strasbourg (France).
Dedicated to polymers chemistry laboratories, it is designed to enable mixing and compounding of products in an enclosed volume with an adjustable shearing effect. in order to measure viscosity at different shearing ratios
During several cycles and at various speeds, the melt is transferred from one room to another through a hole for shearing.Injection of liquid or gaz is possible via a optional device .Maximum working pressure is 250 bars
The mixture is then ready for direct moulding of specimens.
Useful volume is approx. : 100 cc
